GOOD QUALITY SHAPED CHINESE JEWELLERY BOX WITH OVERSTUFFED TOP CUSHION. HAND PAINTED IN GOLD LEAF ON ALL SURFACES, WITH THE MAIN FEATURE BEING ON THE FRONT. ORIGINAL DECORATIVE METAL LOCK PLATE AND EDGING TO CORNERS.
HINGED LID OPENS TO REVEAL A REFLECTIVE MIRROR ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE LID AND A COMPARTMENT TRAY WITH FURTHER HAND PAINTED DECORATION. THIS TRAY LIFTS OUT TO REVEAL FURTHER STORAGE UNDERNEATH.
