This is an antique showcase corner cabinet. A Dutch, satinwood bow-front display case, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1880.

Of exemplary aesthetic appeal, with a striking finish and craftsmanship

Displays a desirable aged patina and in very good order

Select satinwood dazzles with fine grain interest and shimmering caramel hues

Copious inlaid marquetry of boxwood and apple adds further distinction

Fascinating hood shaped crown moulding accentuated with sea shell inlaid motif

Tall glazed doors dressed with a brass foliate lock escutcheon — in working order, key present

Interior arranged as a pair of shelves, benefiting from the natural light cast by the clear, bright glass

Beautifully dressed with a later, soft olive velour interior lining

Set within the bow form, three useful drawers to the mid point - dressed with brass drop handles
