These chairs were purchased by a private client over 20 years, they paid over £20,000 for them from a reputable antiques dealer
These are a beautiful original suite, the patina is as genuine as it comes, the warmth and wear of the timber is simply glorious. The carving is ornate and very much in the Gothic Pugin taste, its architectural and has elements of the palace of Westminster and various grand churches.
