Burr Walnut Writing Slope 1889

Description

A prime example of a burr walnut brass bound writing slope. The burr walnut has a really eye catching attractive grain to the wood. The slope is brass bounded around the edging with an original brass plaque on the centre lid. The plaque is dated to Victorian1889. The interior comprises of it’s original black leather with two separate writing slope sections. This slope does contain secret drawers which is activated by pushing up one of the devisions. A super example.
