Description

A very attractive 19th century mahogany art nouveau carver chair in the manner of J. Shoolbred, c.1880.

The chair boasts a pierced fan back rest and green upholstered seat above pad foot cabriole fore legs. The chair has some marks commensurate with age (please see photographs) but remains firm and sturdy. The upholstery has age but remains clean. The wood has a wonderful patination throughout, particularly to the legs and fore pad feet.
