M Lees and Sons has dated these Chippendale Mahogany Dining Chairs to the 1920s.
Raised on square moulded ‘Marlborough’ supports united by H stretchers . The open interlaced splat backs with well-carved details and a serpentine-shaped leaf-carved top rail .

The edges of the frames and the arms of the carver chairs with ‘rocaille’ or rococo influence carved detail. The outswept arms of the pair of carver chairs with carved and scrolled terminals .
Heavy quality selected mahogany which has achieved a rich period-style colour and patina. The drop-in seat pads having been recently upholstered with period style ‘flame-stitch’ fabric in ready-to-use , clean condition.
In excellent condition with no no damage, breaks or repairs.
