An attractive nursing chair. We date this chair to the very early 20th century.The chair sits on two sturdy downward tapered square section legs at the front and square section legs at the rear. The chairs seat and backrest are well padded, and is upholstered in a foliage tapestry finished with a studded detail. The chair has an unusually high backrest.The chair has a height of 50.5'' (129cm) with a backrest height of 32.5'' (83cm), a seat height of 18.5'' (47cm), a seat width of 20.5'' (52cm) and a seat depth of 17 (44cm).This attractive chair remains in good solid condition with only minor surface marks commensurate with age and usage. The material has some minor wear and usage marks. The frame has minor wear on some edges.
