This is a superb 19th Century antique solid silver gilt Burmese high relief Ceremonial box. The rectangular Burmese silver box with a hinged cover, is chased and embossed with scenes in high relief on the cover and sides. Outlined and surrounded by scrolling foliage in relief. The scenes are from the moralistic tales.
The silver is approximately 90% pure.
