19th century French Rosewood and Brass Inlaid Dressing Box. The sides with shaped brass inset hinged carrying handles. The hinged lid with a vacant plaque and fitted with a silk pouch and a mirror flanked by engraved brass hinged and locking bar. Over five glass jars and bottles with engine turned silver lids each with a monogram and with two lift-out trays with steel and ivory handled utensils above a leather lined compartment fitted brush boxes, compartments and an ivory shoe horn and a comb. The hinged fall front stamped with maker''s mark ''A.C. PARIS'' revealing a plush lined drawer with four divisions. The base with a leather trade label for ''A. CHRISTOPHE RUE DU TEMPLE 33 PARIS''. Also having its original leather travelling case and with five travel labels removed from the case.
