A superb quality Louis XVI revival armchair.
Late 19th century-c.1890.
Constructed from walnut. The carving is of excellent craftsmanship, which is very intricately, delicately and finely carved.

The padded back, arms and seat are flanked by acanthus carved uprights to the armrests.
Standing on turned, tapering supports.
The fabric colour is ivory, with a stripe and satin finish, in good used condition.

Very solid, sturdy and strong.
