Pair (2) of Ornithological Collectors Cabinets

1920 - 1940
Description

A Rare And possibly unique pair of collectors cabinets from the Scottish Ornithological Studies Centre which I believe is part is the Scottish Ornithological Club, which was formed in 1936 these are named by the maker and dated , fantastic condition and showing many groups of birds and the Latin names of these groups, both cabinets have removeable glass fronts which have locks, each seperate drawer slides out they have a glass lid which can be lifted off to access the interior the brass handles are original. Fabulus items and very heavy and in excellent condition. (The Scottish Ornithologists' Club (SOC) was established by a group of Scottish ornithologists who met together in the rooms of the Royal Scottish Geographical Society in Edinburgh on 24th March 1936.)
