The top featuring central fluted-body vase with foliate and flower-head scrolling detail. The sides with trailing carved leaf and flower-head details and the base with conforming detailed frieze . The oblong mirror plate framed with a double border of carved detail .

The Scottish-born architect and designer Robert Adam (1728-1792) , was a leading exponent of neo-classical design during the late C18th , and his schemes and designs can be seen gracing many of England's greatest county-houses, including Syon Park , Kedleston , Croome Court and Harewood House.
In excellent condition with no losses or damage . The gilt with an aged patina .
