A very elegant Regency period mahogany window seat of excellent quality.
c1815.
Beautifully stylish having lyre-scrolled ends, with a carved roundel to the centre of the scroll.
Supported by elegant reeded legs terminating in brass and porcelain castors.
With feather filled cushions and horse hair upholstery. Gold and light blue stripped fabric adds to the elegance of this very stylish window seat.
The overall condition is excellent antique condition. The fabric has very minor signs of use and some minor fading to one side.
Very solid sturdy and strong.
