This Antique oak carved chair was The Mayor of Baths chair during the 1900s.It was purchased from Bath City Council, The Guildhall, Bath in 1971.I believe the chair dates from the middle 1800s.It measures; height 47''/119.5cm, depth 24''/61cm, and width 27''/69cm.It has been reupholstered at some stage of its life in a Sanderson material.An impressive large carved armchair.
