C19th George I Revival Walnut Double Corner-cabinet With Ovoid And Diamond Interlaced Glazing.

C19th George I revival walnut double corner cabinet with ovoid and diamond interlaced glazing . Faithful copy of an important early C18th style walnut 2-part 4-door corner display cabinet. Authentic period-style rounded ''barrel-back'' construction with 2 double-door sections. The interior with shaped ,fixed shelves, has been refreshed to imitate the original traditional ''apple-green'' painted finish of the period. Fine cross-grain moulded glazing bars and excellent quality period-style brass decorative pierced and engraved ''butterfly'' hinges ,lock escutcheons and interior bolts to the doors. Simple moulded cavetto cornice and standing on shaped plinth base. Figured walnut throughout of excellent warm ,rich colour , with recessed burr walnut panels to the sides.
 
In excellent condition , cleaned and waxed ,ready to use.
 
Complete with locks and keys.
