Edwardian Mahogany Tub Chair.

Description

Here is a very elegant Edwardian tub chair.

c1900.

This pretty chair is made of mahogany with lovely carved detail to the centre, with shell and foliate scroll motifs.

Standing on front cabriole supports, with original castors.

Covered with a rich blue damask fabric.

The condition is very good, solid and sturdy, minor signs of use consistent with age. The fabric shows minor signs of use.

The dimensions are.

Height-73cm. Height to top of seat-40cm.

Width-63cm.

Depth-62cm.
