Superb Set of 8 Mahogany Chippendale Style Chairs

1900 - 1920
Description

Here we offer a nice heavy quality set of eight ribbon back chippendale style chairs from the Edwardian period , the set consists of two carver armchairs and six standard chairs , they are made from good quality solid mahogany with super wide ribbon pattern backs , lovely bowed front rails for comfort , all standing on solid sturdy tapered legs with a traditional h stretcher for added strength and support .

The condition is excellent , the drop in seats having recently been recovered in a pleasing polka dot pastel colour , the timber is substantial, sturdy and waxed ready for immediate use .
