Steve Sly Japanese Works of Art has dated this piece to the 1910s.
This is a chair of grand proportions and would suit a variety of uses , it has a bergere seat and back splat which is in good solid useable condition with only a couple of blemishes , the top is carved in a crown fashion giving this chair a very regal look , super front cross stretchers and a turned H shaped under stretcher.
The label reads Liberty and co, Regent street, London.
