Set of Four Mahogany Chippendale Style Dining Chairs.

Description

An exceptional quality set of four mahogany dining chairs in the Chippendale style, dating from circa 1910. Elegantly proportioned, each chair features a shaped top rail with finely carved decoration above a pierced back splat. Graceful cabriole front legs, carved at the knees, terminate in well-defined ball-and-claw feet.

The mahogany has a rich, warm colour, complemented by upholstered, drop-in sprung seats. All four chairs are in sound condition, offering a handsome and practical addition to a period or contemporary dining room.
