Antique Jacobean Style Oak Corner Cabinet | Arched Alcove

Antique early 20th century corner cabinet in oak, carved in the Jacobean style, a handsome and well-proportioned piece of good quality, showcasing fine craftsmanship and detailed hand carving.

The upper section is an open display alcove with two shaped shelves, ideal for showing china, glass or books. Below is a panelled cupboard door enclosing a further shelf, fitted with an iron heart shaped drop handle.

The alcove is framed by a carved arch with a keystone, lunette and dog-tooth carving, and spandrels carved with foliage, all flanked by fluted pilasters. The cabinet is finished with a carved cornice above and a moulded plinth on short square feet below.

The oak displays a lovely figured grain and a warm, rich colour, with a deep patina that highlights the carving beautifully.

Presented in good condition. A very desirable carved oak corner cabinet, making the most of any corner in a dining room, living room or hallway.

• Your piece will be delivered to the room of your choice, provided there is suitable access. For items supplied in sections, assembly is not included as part of the delivery service.

• Our standard delivery timeframe is approximately 3–15 working days from receipt of payment. The courier will contact you directly to confirm the delivery date and provide an approximate arrival time.

• If you have any particular delivery requirements, please let us know before purchasing and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.

Collection is available free of charge from our stockroom at WR6 5JE, by appointment only. Please contact us in advance to arrange a convenient collection date and time.
