Early 19th century French gilt Louis Philippe mirror.

It dates from around 1800.

It has its stunning original real gilt (gold leaf) on gesso frame with a subtle etched leaf design and no chips.

It has its original heavily foxed mercury glass. Mercury glass was not used after 1840 and gives a beautiful sparkle in sunlight.

It has its original backboards and a wire ready to be hung.
