Elmgarden has dated these Arts and Crafts Oak Chairs to the 1880s.

This is a very handsome set of 6 Oak Chairs, they have tapering legs and the backs have open carved hearts and spades in the Arts and Crafts style
The seats are upholstered in the original Liberty velvet carpet that was produced in the late 19th century, this is very rare and although not in totally perfect condition, as they have a little fading and wear but it is so rare to see this it makes them into a museum pieces

The chairs are in good sound condition with very little or no signs of wear all in all a very good set
The chairs are 40” high at the back, 18” across the front and seats are 18” high
