Set of 4 Victorian Walnut Balloon Back Dining Chairs

Item Code: LC1462

A decorative set of four Victorian walnut dining chairs, each with an elegant balloon-shaped open back and finely carved detailing.

The shaped back frames are beautifully formed with flowing curves and carved foliate motifs to the crest rail and central splat. Further carved detail appears to the lower back rail, giving the chairs a refined and attractive appearance without being overly heavy in design.

The chairs stand on slender cabriole front legs with scrolling feet and gently swept rear legs. Each has a generously upholstered seat finished in a pale cream and gold patterned fabric with decorative braid edging.

A graceful and useful set of four Victorian dining chairs with an attractive warm walnut colour, well suited to a dining room, bedroom, dressing room or as occasional seating.
