Antique Brass Wall Mirror

Description

A handsome Victorian brass wall mirror by William Tonks & Son dating from the late 19th Century. It has an ornate pierced brass frame with a useful small shelf in front of the bevelled glass. It has a brass backing and the reverse is stamped with the maker's name and registration number.

It is in good condition for its age with a lovely patina. There are some minor surface marks and signs of age but no major damages and it is strong and sturdy. There is one small bracket missing on the back which covers the back plate but it isn't detrimental and the other clips hold it firmly in place. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
