Description:
Dating to circa 1940, this pair remains in excellent condition throughout. Indeed, this pair of walnut nightstands boasts a lovely moulded frame, and it showcases walnut veneers over a solid carcass. Additionally, the vintage walnut bedside tables have flat tops that display mirror-matched, burr-figured walnut. Below, a large open area offers space for storing books or a phone. Further below, the Art Deco nightstands feature bow-fronted cupboard doors, ideal for further storage. Green jade stone and brushed brass knobs adorn the doors, while the original sprung ball closure mechanism brackets secure them shut.
These Art Deco bedside chests also stand on an elegant, shaped plinth base. Moreover, these antique walnut bedside cabinets boast classic Art Deco styling throughout, visible in their rounded corners, clean lines and stepped design.

This is a good quality pair of vintage English Art Deco bedside cabinets, featuring an open top section and a cupboard, and it showcases fine walnut throughout. Dating to circa 1940, this pair remains in excellent condition throughout. Subsequently, our workshop team cleaned and hand French-polished the Art Deco bedside tables to a professional standard, so the finish remains in excellent condition. There are nominal old use marks to the leading edges, but nothing significant considering their age. Nevertheless, the cupboard doors open freely, and the original sprung ball closure mechanism brackets still keep them closed. Overall, these Art Deco nightstands boast sound, well-built joints and stand ready to use.
Meanwhile, these matching bedside tables boast a rich, warm walnut colour. Overall, the pair of nightstands displays fantastic colour and patination, a quality that only age and years of careful cleaning can achieve.
