C19th Solid Oak Hall Seat of Architectural Form

Description

Unusual C19th solid oak hall seat of architectural form; compact yet very strong proportions; the twin fielded panelled back above the plain oak seat flanked by monumental scrolled slab ends, having a reeded moulded edge with finely carved sunbursts to either side. Raised on a substantial moulded plinth base.

English circa 1860

Good original condition with an untouched dry surface. Can be waxed if required.
