The lower panels feature finely painted Vernis Martin scenes, signed V. Gossens, depicting romantic and allegorical subjects executed in the Rococo manner.
One cabinet retains its luxurious original crimson silk-lined interior, creating a striking backdrop for the display of porcelain, silver, objets d'art or fine collectibles.
