An interesting variation of a 19th-century beech and elm Oxford Windsor elbow chair. The back on this particular chair has three turned spindles and a saddle seat, turned legs, and an H-stretcher. These design markers are consistent with many chair manufacturers during the Victorian era in the High Wycombe area.
The condition is very good with a lovely, gently worn patina.
Note: This chair is quite narrow through the seat and would suit someone of a slight build.
