Past to Present has dated this Edwardian Oak Money Box to the Edwardian era.
It is in the shape of a coopered barrel with brass rings and a brass money slot. Has a wooden plate on the base that unscrews to retrieve saved money
It could be polished but I think it would be a shame to do so

Measures 5 1/2 inches high and 4 inches at its widest
