The shaped backs feature finely executed marquetry panels depicting scrolling foliate ornament, urns and stylised birds, framed within delicate line inlays.The serpentine front seat rails are further decorated with restrained inlaid motifs and stand on elegant tapering legs with additional marquetry embellishment to the front supports.
