A Venetian micro mosaic antique mirror, the mirror has a decorative carved frame embellished with glass micro-mosaic dating from the mid to late 19th century in fabulous antique condition. The golden hues are interspersed with the pretty colours of the floral decoration. The colours are a rare example.

Important mirror in micromosaic and polychrome glass twists. With its dynamic shape, this Venetian mirror is entirely decorated with bouquets of flowers, stray roses, and foliage in a naturalistic style, in low relief against a gold background. The motifs are delicately crafted, and the technique employed demonstrates extraordinary virtuosity. This mirror was made in Venice, Italy, towards the end of the 19th century, when Italian micromosaic was renowned throughout Europe.
