A lovely original example of a ''Mendlesham'' Windsor armchair.
Circa 1820.
Crafted from fruitwood with an elm seat, this model features a more unusual ''flame'' back splat.
Firmly attributed to the East Anglia region, more specifically the Day family in Mendlesham.
Beautiful original colour and glow to the wood. Structurally sound.
