Set of Six Victorian Mahogany Dining Chairs

Description

A set of six Victorian dining chairs made from solid mahogany, with a deep, rich colour. The chairs have shaped top rails and a gently curved back support, giving them a refined appearance. The front legs are turned and rounded, while the back are gently swept outwards. The seats are upholstered in pale green patterned fabric. A handsome set of chairs, with good proportions and profile.

CONDITION REPORT:

Structurally solid and sound. Cosmetic wear to the frames, consistent with age including marks and scratches. The upholstery shows signs of age and would benefit from upholstery, allowing the next owner to choose fabric that suits their interior. There is loss to the back support of one chair (pictured). Overall a handsome set, solid and sound.
