A refined Chippendale Revival mahogany display cabinet of impressive scale and quality, featuring rich figured veneers, confident carving, and a gently serpentine front. Constructed in solid mahogany with well-chosen flame mahogany veneers, the cabinet reflects the enduring influence of 18th-century English Chippendale design, interpreted in a later revival context.The cabinet is topped by a bold moulded cornice incorporating a continuous carved frieze of rosettes and scrolling foliage, centred by a carved floral cartouche. The fa�ade is arranged with a central pair of astragal-glazed doors, the glazing bars formed as elongated ovals and intersecting arches�an elegant and recognisably Chippendale motif.
