Art Deco Black Enamel & Chrome Compact Cigarette Case Minauderie C1930

Description

A rare ART DECO Black Enamel Minaudière / Vanity case / Compact / Cigarette / Stamp / matches Case which has 2 sliding catches opening hinged lids on both sides with fitted interior. To include compartments for makeup, lipstick, cigarettes, matches & stamps.

Rectangular form, with basket of flowers motif, measuring 11 cm x 6 cm x 2.5 cm.

It is in fabulous condition for its now nearly 100 years, the box opens & shuts well via the 2 sliding catches, mirror intact, a little bit of foxing around the edge of the glass, a few small edge chips to enamel, wear to chrome plating on high points, both sliding catches working well, and usual signs of wear commensurate of age and use.
