Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The quality is superb, it is of generous proportions and it is very comfortable. The seat is well sprung, the frame sits on solid oak splayed legs.
The legs have also been re-polished, this is in excellent condition for its age. There is just some minor wear, light marks and crackling here and there, commensurate for age.
