Howard And Sons Bridgewater Armchair

An early 19th century country Bridgewater armchair by Howard and sons - London c1900. Raised on turned walnut front legs with splayed rear legs and all retaining the original Howard stamped casters. The rear left leg bears the makers stamp.
 
The chair retains much of its original Howard printed lining beneath the attractive floral linen slip cover and is super comfortable which is why we have decided to not restore the chair and sell in ''as found'' country house condition.
 
Provenance. A private collection in Norfolk.
 
As with all our upholstered seating we do offer upholstery should you wish.
