A Victorian mahogany rocking chair with carved detail, dating to the late 19th century. The frame features shaped arms with scroll ends, cabriole front legs, and broad rockers joined by a simple stretcher. The backrest and seat have been reupholstered in a pale cream check fabric, with a high, slightly concave profile that supports the upper back and shoulders. A fine example of Victorian domestic furniture, combining comfort with decorative presence.
