This is an antique flower press box. An English, beech and cast iron hobby case dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910. A rare and characterful piece, combining practical function with decorative appeal.

Casework in select beech with fine grain interest and deep caramel hues

Lid incorporates a functional flower press, a charming hobby feature

Cast iron twist locks secure the pressing slide, released via sliding clasps
