This is an antique campaign apothecary box. An English, flame mahogany chemist''s case, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1780. A superb and evocative example of 18th century portable medical storage, with fine quality materials and construction throughout.

Crafted from select flame mahogany, offering warm caramel tones and fine grain interest
 
Dressed with brass corner caps and a recessed brass carry handle to the lid
 
Lid opens to reveal 14 individually sized compartments with gently timeworn lining
 
Lower drawer hosts four further sections, including a pair of lidded caddies for tools or ingredients
