A set of six antique mahogany dining chairs, British c.1780. Each chair features a pierced splat back with shaped top rail, fluted uprights, and drop-in upholstered seats. The chairs stand on square front legs joined by stretchers, with gently splayed back legs. The craftsmanship reflects late 18th-century English cabinet making, with emphasis on elegant proportions and fine mahogany timber. Suitable for formal dining or occasional use.
