This Victorian Inlaid Walnut Writing and Sewing Box is beautifully decorated with both figured walnut veneer and a wide decorative banding of Tunbridge ware type along with Mother Of Pearl Escutcheon and lozenge to the top. On opening the lid you will find a fitted removable tray, with lidded compartments for your sewing items.
Once the tray is lifted out you can then unfold the box further to reveal the writing slope, fitted with its original tooled velvet lining, with a pen tray.
