Regency Rosewood Tea Caddy.

19th century
Description

A Regency rosewood tea caddy. The domed lid opening to reveal an underside with red Morocco leather lining with gilded edges, two tea canisters with inlaid centre diamond shaped panel either side of the original cut glass mixing bowl, all standing on turned gilded brass feet. The keyhole escutcheon is missing otherwise good colour and patina. English Circa 1820.
