Description

This delightful and very unusual French satin mottled glass trinket box dates circa 1890. The brass bound hinged satin glass lid with mottled effect in hues of pink white and pale yellow. The sides and back decorated with conforming decorations.

Dimensions:

Diameter at widest: 5cm / 2 inches.

Height: 3cm / 1.2 inches.

Condition:

Good.

Ormulu mount and glass in good condition.

Glass top with some minor surface wear.

Very slight movement in the hinge, commensurate with age and use.

Snaps shut.

Postage:
