The case is in the most beautifully figured mahogany with contrasting ebony details. It is a beautiful colour and is in excellent condition.
The good quality 8 day movement strikes the hours on a bell and has a very decorative painted dial. It has a subsidiary seconds dial, date window and displays the phase of the moon to the arch.
The movement looks to have recently been serviced and is in good working order and keeping time.
