Charming Light Honey Coloured Oak Longcase Clock circa 1790- 1810 of Typical Late 18th Century Georgian Grandfather Format. Raised on a Plinth with Mahogany Trimmings to the Hood Door.

Signed J.P. Saddleton, Lynn (for James Parlett Saddleton, Kings Lynn, Norfolk, the White Enamel Painted is unusual as it Does Not Have A False Plate that is Normally Associated with Painted Dials. A cross between Silvered Dials and Increasingly Popular Painted Dials.
He was Married in 1798 and worked in Kings Lynn till 1845.
