Pair of Regency Gilt Convex Mirrors

Description

Pair of Regency gilt convex mirrors retaining its original slightly worn through water gilding and mercury glass surrounded with an ebony reeded slip and closely applied gilt spheres. The back has an inscription dated 1840 with two names Emily & Jane Miller retailed by a shop on Bartlett street in the city of Bath. One mirror glass has more foxing than the other.
