Description

This is a very nice horn misers snuff box. It has many attributes. Firstly it is dated 1834. It is decorated on one side with a mermaid and on the other side is a farmer. At the top the farmer is with his dogs and the bottom picture he is ploughing his field with his cattle.

The box is decorated on the sides as well. When you open the lid you are only able to take a pinch of snuff, as the opening has been delibrately made smaller hence the name misers snuff box.

The box has a very nice colour and patina.
