This is a wonderful English 19th century antique garden armchair, beautifully made in terracotta in the popular Grotto style of the time around 1870, made to simulate twigs and branches with a wide ample seat. This antique garden chair is actually quite comfortable. In the original glazed finish and in superb condition. Stamped to the underside by the English Denby Dale maker, J.Kitson & Son Ltd. Perfect for a garden room, conservatory or orangerie. Quite a rare surviving model.
