Pair Of Antique Leather Barrel Back Wing Armchairs

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: Marylebone Antiques

An outstanding pair of antique leather barrel back wing armchairs. They were made in England and date from the early twentieth century, likely around the 1920-30’s.

They are of superb quality, they are generous in proportions and are extremely comfortable. The design is beautiful, with wonderful curbed barrel shaped backs, the deep buttoned leather frames stand on tapered mahogany legs.

The colour of the leather is absolutely beautiful, we have had the leather revived by our leather restorer, the legs have also been re-polished. The condition is excellent for their age, with just some minor surface wear here and there, commensurate for age.
